Multiple ways to reach us

Appointment Options

Three ways to access our dietitians — wherever you are in Australia.

  • Home Visits

Our mobile service travels across Greater Melbourne and some regional areas. We visit homes, group homes, and care facilities. This option suits NDIS, DSOA, and Home Care Package clients. A home visit lets us look at your food environment and give hands-on guidance around meal prep, kitchen set-up, and grocery choices.

  • Clinic Appointments

Face-to-face sessions are available in Dandenong on Fridays.

Bring your Chronic Disease Management Plan for Medicare rebates. You can also claim through your private health fund on the spot.

  • Telehealth

Video consultations are available from anywhere in Australia, including regional and rural Victoria. You get full access to our team without leaving home. Telehealth appointments suit most services — clinical nutrition, sports, eating disorder support, and pregnancy nutrition.

0:00So if someone's not sure about if they should see a dietitian or if it will be valuable, what I would say is that it definitely will be valuable because we
0:08that's what we do and that's our job is to help people make meaningful and sustainable changes in their lives. So we're really skilled and trained in
0:16behavior change and working with a range of different people. No matter where you're at or or what your goals are, um dietitians have amazing skills and knowledge to help a range of people. So,
0:27if you're on the fence, I would say go for it because you'll get so much value from it. And, you know, if you've been
0:35struggling trying to work things out on your own, googling things on the internet, asking people who may not have the qualification, um, then really,
0:44you're going to be better to actually just jump in and see a dietitian, give it a go, even if you just start with one session. And what you'll find is that
0:52you'll probably get so much value out of that and you'll feel like at least you have some guidance and support from a real person who is qualified and trained
1:00to help. So I would say go for it and you know it's you know we get feedback from clients all the time about you know
1:07I wish I came to see you sooner because they've been strug trying to work things out on their own and just keep going in circles. So yeah nutrition and diet is
1:16and eating is really it can be really tricky. It's can be complicated. It can be difficult. there's a lot of um you know barriers sometimes to eating well.
1:24So that's what as a dietitian I love helping people break through those barriers and actually you know try and sort of you know sort of get that real
1:33kind of sustainable healthy lifestyle routine building up those habits so that you know eventually you just feel like
1:41your life has improved and and you never look back.

How it works

What Happens in a Session?

Every session is different — because every person is different.

We might look at what's in your pantry, talk through your daily routine, or work out what's been getting in the way. Some people leave with a structured plan. Others leave with actionable personalised changes. Both are fine.

There are no scales unless you want them. No food diaries unless they help. No lecture about what you should be eating.

Sessions often include:

  • Talking through your daily food routine and what life actually looks like
  • Exploring your relationship with food and any history that's relevant
  • Working out what's getting in the way — practically, emotionally, or medically
  • Looking at your test results, medications, or health conditions where relevant
  • Finding changes that reduce stress, not add to it

Our Process

How We Work

There's no single way of eating that suits everyone — and there's no single way we work with clients either.

For some people, that means a structured nutrition plan built around a diagnosis. For others, it means practical guidance on one or two things that have been hard. We follow your lead.

Across most clients, the work tends to move through four phases — though not always in a straight line:

0:00There's some common misconceptions about dietitians of what we do. The biggest one would be that people often think that we're the food police and that
0:07we're going to be really prescriptive and and tell you what to do um rather than working with you. So, so that's a
0:15complete myth. We we absolutely um will always work with you and to make sure that whatever we're recommending is going to be suitable for your situation
0:24and your lifestyle. The other big myth is that there may not be value or that it might not be worth the money seeing a dietitian. And again, I would say that's
0:32a huge myth because we do get feedback all the time that that there is that it's so great just to talk to someone
0:39and to get that really personalized tailored feedback, recommendation,
0:45support that you can't get from just googling. So, um, that's really important to sort of remember that we,
0:54you know, we are we're real people as well and we can use our own experiences and from helping hundreds and of clients ourselves, we we have a lot to offer in
1:03terms of personalizing our advice and also making sure that it's specific for you, not like a a cookie cutter meal
1:10plan that you might download from the internet that will be completely unsuitable for your requirements and your lifestyle. So we we tailor every
1:18single thing that we are saying and recommending.
step # 1

Assessment

We review your diet, medical history, circumstances, goals, and the barriers you face. We look at current eating patterns and screen for any nutrient gaps.

step # 2

Your Starting Point

We agree on what to focus on first — whether that's a structured nutrition plan, a single behaviour change, or simply understanding your condition better. There's no cookie-cutter solution. Your situation shapes what comes next.

step # 3

Tools & Support

We give you what you actually need to follow through — which might be shopping guidance, a pantry review, meal ideas, or advice on eating out. The goal is confidence, not compliance.

step # 4

Ongoing Review

We check in regularly. We look at your progress, symptoms, energy, sleep, and health markers. We update the approach as your needs change.
